Mark is the former President of Seaforth Creamery Inc., a privately-owned manufacturer of private label food products for the North American retail food trade. Over the 15 years Mark was involved, he grew the family business by establishing it as an industry leader in the private label arena, making strategic acquisitions along the way.
Seaforth Creamery was sold to E.D. Smith Income Trust in 2006. Mark remained with E.D. Smith as Vice President of Sales, Marketing & Product Development until the Income Trust was sold to Treehouse Foods in 2007. Presently, he acts as Director of Cathmark Investments and is a Partner of B.E. Capital. Mark holds an Economics Degree from the University of Western Ontario and is a member of the Fraser Institute. An active philanthropist, Mark lives in Oakville with his wife and 3 daughters. |
