Jim Allan is the Chairman and co-founder of Roundtable Capital Partners Inc. and is the President of Roundtable Offshore Management (Bahamas), Ltd. He is responsible for the overall investment and trading decisions that affect mandates under Roundtable's direction and serves as the lead portfolio manager to the Roundtable Funds.

Before founding Roundtable, Jim was the Vice President of Portfolio Management at a boutique, Toronto-based asset management firm from 1999 to 2005 where he managed large and small capitalization portfolios. During his tenure at the firm, the funds in which Jim was listed as a portfolio manager were consistently top-quartile performers within their respective peer groups. From 1992 to 1998, Jim was a financial consultant, first with CIBC Wood Gundy and then with TD Evergreen in Toronto. He received the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 2000 and is a member of the CFA Society of The Bahamas and the CFA Institute.
