Edward Rogers is Deputy Chairman of Rogers Communications Inc., a leading provider of Wireless, Digital Cable TV, High Speed Internet and Home Phone services to consumers and businesses in Canada. Prior to his current role, Edward served as President and CEO for Rogers Cable Inc. until 2009, and as Senior Vice President, Planning and Strategy, for Rogers Communications Inc. and, before that, as the Vice President and General Manager of the Toronto region. Edward also has prior experience in the wireless market when he served as Vice President & General Manager of Paging, Data and Emerging Technologies for Rogers Wireless. Additionally, he served as Director of Sales for Rogers Cable Inc., responsible for retail, audit sales and sales administration.

After graduating from the University of Western Ontario, Mr. Rogers spent 2 ½ years with Comcast Corporation, a U.S. cable and cellular company out of Philadelphia. Mr. Rogers is also on the Board of Directors for Rogers Communications Inc. and Futureway Communications Inc. and is a trustee of a number of family trusts and charitable foundations.
