Nico Cape joined Roundtable Capital Partners Inc. in 2009 as an officer and portfolio manager. His primary responsibilities include serving as a portfolio manager to the firm’s pooled funds and heading the firm’s segregated portfolio initiatives. Previously, Nico spent eight years at Sceptre Investment Counsel, one of Canada’s oldest independent investment managers as a portfolio manager, where he managed Canadian and U.S. portfolios exclusively for Sceptre’s high net worth clients. He brings a wealth of experience constructing portfolios from his considerable knowledge of U.S., Canadian, and Global large capitalization equities. Prior to joining Sceptre, Nico worked in the investment banking departments of Merrill Lynch in Toronto and J.P. Morgan in New York City where he focused on mergers & acquisitions, raising capital, and leveraged finance transactions. Before earning his MBA at Rotman School of Management in 1999, Nico was a consultant at First Manhattan Consulting Group, and he received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Princeton University in 1993.
